Direct to Film Transfer (DTF)-

  1. Set temperature on heat press to 305 degrees F for standard DTF or 325 for glitter, shimmer or glow DTF.
  2. Pre heat garment for 5-10 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
  3. Place transfer in desired location (on a thinner shirt put parchment paper inside to prevent adhesive from going through it)
  4. Cover with parchment (baking) paper or Teflon sheet.
  5. Press using medium/firm pressure for 20 seconds for standard DTF or 35 sec for glitter, shimmer or glow DTF.
  6. Remove from press
  • Standard film is a warm/cool peel. Let cool 45 seconds to 1 min before peeling. Film should not be HOT.
  • Specialty film is a COLD peel. Let sit until completely cold to the touch prior to peeling.
  1. If doing multiple designs or front/back press all designs before removing film.
  2. Remove transfer in a low roll motion. DO NOT pull up.
  3. Return to heat press, cover transfer with parchment (matte finish) or teflon (glossy finish). Repress for an additional 20 seconds.
  4. Ready to wear once design is completely cool.
  5. Hang or lay flat, do not wad. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Wait for 1st wash 72 hours inside out, cool water & low heat or hang dry. Safe to iron over the design on low heat (silk or 1-2 setting). Cover design with parchment paper. Keep iron in motion do not let sit on the design. Let cool completely before wearing.
  6. If you notice moisture spots, it is common. Press design like normal then let cool. Wipe with a soft damp cloth. This is caused by the curing process and is just excess moisture trapped between the design and the film. Can also be caused by high humidity and temp changes during shipping.

Sublimation Transfer-

  1. It is STRONGLY recommended to trim around your design before pressing. This will ensure no ink is on the edge of the page.
  2. Choose an item that is at least 50% polyester (the higher the % the more vibrant the color will be) white or light colored (sublimation does not print white so to get white in your graphic you must use a white shirt; any white area of graphic will be color of the shirt)
  3. Set your heat press at 385-400 degrees F (lower temp for higher cotton count)
  4. Pre heat garment for 5-10 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture
  5. Place parchment paper inside the shirt in the location of the transfer if your shirt can not be threaded over the lower heat platen. (Prevents bleed through)
  6. Place transfer in desired location; use heat tape to hold in place if needed
  7. Cover with parchment (baking/butcher) paper (DO NOT USE TEFLON)
  8. Press using medium pressure for 60 seconds
  9. Open press and carefully (it will be HOT) remove transfer
  10. Ready to wear once design is completely cool.
  11. For Fluorescent Sublimation- to see the glow, turn on a black/UV light. Ink is activated by the heat so you won’t be able to see the glow on the transfer until pressed

Screen Print Transfer-

  1. Set temperature on heat press to 325 degrees F
  2. Pre heat garment for 5-10 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture
  3. Place transfer in desired location
  4. Cover with parchment (baking) paper DO NOT USE TEFLON
  5. Press using firm pressure for 7 seconds (cotton, polyester or fabric blends)
  6. Peel immediately (hot peel)
  7. Ready to wear once design is completely cool.
  8. Hang or lay flat, do not wad. Do not use bleach. Do NOT iron directly over transfer. Wait for 1st wash 72 hours inside out, cool water and low heat dry.
